As a Barclays Executive Assistant, you’ll provide full secretarial support in Investment Banking, schedule/coordinate meetings & events, help maintain busy appointment calendars, and arrange and coordinate travel schedules & reservations. Working with answering, screening, and routing telephone calls and responding to inquiries from internal & external clients and liaising with senior level individuals throughout the firm will be part of your role.

Salary / Rate Minimum: $85,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $107,000

What will you be doing?

•    Providing a high level of administrative support to investment banking teams (more than eight people)
•    Scheduling and coordinating meetings/events, maintaining busy appointment calendars
•    Answering, screening, and routing telephone calls; responding to inquiries from internal and external clients and liaising with senior level individuals throughout the Firm
•    Creating, maintaining, and accessing files and preparing and tracking T&E expenses
•    Leading and acting as back up for other assistants in the office including office coordinator
•    Handling correspondence, including drafting replies and composing letters and memos and handling special projects as they arise
•    Arranging and coordinating travel schedules and reservations, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and the like
•    Using independent judgment to achieve defined results, e.g., screening and routing telephone calls and managing heavy scheduling, with minimum guidance

What we’re looking for:

•    Two to four years of administrative experience in investment banking industry preferred.
•    Experience working with senior level executives in a corporate setting
•    Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word for Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook essential
•    Available to work from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and available to provide assistance on off-hours as needed

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
