Title: BRAND MARKETING MANAGER
Reports to: Senior Brand Marketing Manager, Anthropologie North America
Overview: The Brand Marketing Manager will assist the Marketing Team in delivering omnichannel 360 campaigns that provide an engaging customer experience and meet overall business objectives across the Anthropologie, Anthropologie Weddings & AnthroLiving brands. They will be responsible for coordinating the workflow and communication between cross-functional partners in the planning, development, and execution stages of marketing campaigns by facilitating meetings, following up with partners, and providing creative solutions to potential roadblocks. This person will be a champion in bringing new ideas to the team as our expert in market trends, competitor initiatives, and emerging opportunities.
Responsibilities:
External Partnerships/Experiential Activations
Work in tandem with Senior Brand Marketing Manager to ideate compelling, 360 degree cross-promotional partnerships that support overarching goals and campaigns across Anthropologie, BHLDN & AnthroLiving brands
Act as Project Manager, developing and closely monitoring detailed timelines for all partnership elements with a special focus on the production elements of experiential activations
Closely review partnership SOWs and contracts etc., working with Legal as needed and ensuring that all confirmed deliverables within are upheld accordingly
Assist in producing and managing all experiential activations that support marketing goals and initiatives of external partnerships
Proactively ideate experiential elements to partnerships
Oversee Associate Manager, Brand Partnerships development of partnership briefs and ensure all respective needs are being clearly and effectively communicated
Analyze partnership results to determine success and the future of the relationship/inform future decisions
Grow and nurture relationships with key home office teams to optimize partnerships, including Creative, Social, Digital Marketing, PR, Styling and Merchandising
Campaigns
Assist Senior Brand Marketing Manager in the development of annual and seasonal brand and product marketing strategies that help build the brands, grow the customer file, reinforce the brand positioning and above all, drive awareness
Ideate marketing tactics to support campaigns, always keeping the customer perspective in mind
Manage communication with cross-channel marketing partners and creative teams to ensure alignment on campaigns
Partner with Senior Manager, Marketing Operations on the brief process and project manage campaigns across cross-functional teams, looking for opportunities to optimize the tools and processes to brief in teams
Develop and nurture relationships with key home office teams to optimize campaigns, including Creative, Social, Digital Marketing, PR, Styling Services and Merchandising
Work with cross-functional partners to develop succinct hindsights for marketing campaigns
Be a champion in bringing new ideas to the team as our expert in market trends, competitor initiatives, and emerging opportunities
Media Partnerships
Support Senior Brand Marketing Manager in maintaining relationships with media partners to keep Anthropologie, BHLDN & AnthroLiving top of mind for potential paid placements (including OOH partners)
Proactively seek and vet incoming paid media opportunities for the brands
Assist in the execution of all confirmed media plans by maintaining communication with partner, overseeing Associate Manager, Brand Partnerships in the briefing process and ensuring all deliverables are optimized for both preferred creative and linking components
Guide Associate Manager, Brand Partnerships in recapping paid media campaigns and work closely with cross functional partners to assess performance and overall brand lift to help inform future strategies
Qualifications:
5-6 years of experience in a marketing role with dedicated partnership experience; fashion/retail experience a plus
A charismatic and proactive style of communication desired for external communication
Strong organization skills inclusive of building timelines and able to work on a variety of projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to build relationships and work with a variety of cross-functional partners across multiple teams
Hunger for brainstorming/ideating new and exciting external partners in complementary industries
General awareness of/experience working with media companies and partners a plus
Motivated by curiosity, whether solving a problem, pursuing a new experience, or seeking creative inspiration
A proven ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and results
Results-driven, solution-oriented, flexible, self-driving, and must have the ability to change course quickly, think big and start small, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or related field preferred
