DESCRIPTION

Amazon Shopping Videos (ASV) is looking for a customer obsessed, ambitious Social Media Manager who can shift gears between strategy and execution! The right person for this role will be a self-starter with ability to operate independently and navigate through ambiguity. Demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done will be key to success in the role. The ability to see around corners, understand social trends, and capitalize on those trends is crucial to success. Finally, this candidate must possess strong project management skills and be able to effectively influence others to achieve success.

Key job responsibilities
* Owns O&O Social Calendar planning, post development, execution and tracking
* Manages Organic social creative; including, social content capturing, internal creative team request management; social content creative alterations, and copy writing
* Work closely with influencers for creator content to support the Amazon Shoppable Video brand and content.
* Support marketing team with creator strategy for campaigns, events and partnerships.
* Analyze and report social channel and activation performance to quantify the effectiveness of campaigns and drive scalable learnings.
* Set an experimentation calendar and test hypotheses around the optimal editorial strategy for Amazon Shoppable Video.
* Work with platform partners to ensure the business is adopting the latest product features and best practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
– Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Deep understanding of social media and content performance metrics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
– Experience equally comfortable building strategic marketing plans and executing at a tactical level

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
