POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Global Head of Talent & Influence Marketing, the US Senior Manager of Talent & Influence Marketing will support in creating the outline, definition, and execution of the long-term Moncler Talent & Influence Marketing Brand strategy, aiming to go beyond fashion and beyond luxury, with the scope of all Brand relationships across tier 1 talent and tier 2 Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) & Seeding within the US Market.  Aligned with the global guidelines and objectives set by the Global Talent & Influence Marketing team, this role will cultivate deep and meaningful talent connections within the US market, across the worlds of design, entertainment, music, sports, and art. With a dotted line reporting relationship to the Americas VP of Marketing & Communications, this role will also support both global and local brand activations according to the three brand pillars (Moncler Genius, Moncler Collection and Grenoble).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing Brand Strategy and Business Analysis

  • Support the development of the US Talent & Influence Marketing strategy, including coordination with the Global Team for both Celebrities and KOLs, streamlining guidelines for talent activations within the market while following the global Talent & Influence strategy. 
  • Support the Americas hero city strategy, developing local communities and strengthening local engagement amongst professional athletes, stylists, talents, and cultural connectors in key markets to include New York, LA, Chicago & Miami.  
  • Manage and report on the US Influence and Talent budget, local store pulls, local talent gifting and allowances and the monthly check of Cegid files in collaboration with Global Talent Team. 
  • Moderating, reporting and effectively analyzing KPIs and performance across key market channels to guide and optimize overall local Talent strategy. Send local talent reporting to Global Talent Team according to the Global reporting guidelines and deadlines per project. 
  • Propose new social media tools, best practices, competitor activity and other social leaders to bring early adopter approaches to the way Moncler works in the Influence Marketing sphere.

Relationships

  • Support in building, reinforcing, and consolidating the Brand’s relationship with KOLs and stylists across different industries (fashion, art, entertainment, music, and sports) that align with Moncler’s core values and target objectives including detailed research beforehand.

Activations and Coordination 

  • Management of local product placement and seeding ensuring orders are aligned with the Global Talent strategy and with city-up marketing objectives. 
  • Own the relationship with all US store managers to efficiently process store pulls and talent gifting. 
  • Supervise and manage talent fittings, gifting and attendance for local and global events, spontaneous gifting, and cultural moments, including eventual management of local talent space within the region. 
  • Maintain an updated global database of contacts across all pillars and relevant activations using Launch Metrics platform. 
  • Coordination of all local talent travel to local and/or global events according to global travel budget guidelines.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred fields include communications, public relations, and marketing. Other fields of study, with relevant work experiences also welcomed.     

Work Experience 

  • Five (5) plus years of experience relevant to the role with  in-depth and demonstrable understanding of talent/KOL procurement and management. 
  • Preferred career experience in luxury retail organizations.  Experience gained in global non-luxury organizations also welcomed.  

Special Skills and Personal Attributes 

  • A deep knowledge of the influencer marketing landscape with a proven track record of identifying talent aligned with brand values, and successfully securing and managing partnerships.
  • Established and maintained industry contacts and relations.
  • An understanding of brand marketing and the role talent plays in brand strategy.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities specific to Talent coordinator and logistics. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and engaging narratives.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to conceptualize unique and innovative communication strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Well versed with public relations tools and social media platforms & trends. 
  • Highly motivated with ability to organize multiple teams and concepts to achieve results. 
  • Strong negotiation skills.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Moncler includes a reasonable estimate of the salary rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $115,000.00 per year to $135,000.00 per year. In addition to a competitive base salary,  the appointed candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including  medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/clothing allowance, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.

The position requires 4 days per week on Site in the Moncler Corporate Office, located in the heart of Soho, Manhattan
