ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is seeking a Director, Program Management to lead planning, project execution, and development of large-scale, cross-team initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President of Program Management and Software Operations, this leader will help lead the execution of software programs that will help fuel Peloton’s growth and market expansion. The Director will serve as a transformational people leader, ensuring automation and process scalability is at the forefront of strategic conversations, and building and leading a world-class technical program management team.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

Be the catalyst to complete business objectives by applying agile best practices, running meetings, collecting requirements, and coordinating larger planning activities across our teams
Help organize projects by creating project plans, identifying constraints, providing mitigation plans, and reporting status to key partners
Coordinate cross functionally to manage, track and deliver outcomes for our teams while managing trade-offs
Provide insight to leaders by holding the responsibility for regular reporting to key partners on project and program status
Effectively mentor, and lead, a team of multiple Technical Program Managers
YOU BRING TO PELOTON

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (related field) or equivalent work experience.
Over 10 years of hand on Program Management experience shipping consumer facing products
Understanding of software development lifecycle including design/architecture and tradeoffs
Ability to effectively communicate with engineering team
5+ years leading and managing a team.
Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas
Solid track-record of delivering products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to large groups and leadership teams.
Solid customer obsession: you enjoy obsessing over getting the customer experience right
You earn trust with your direct team and partners: you listen, you are inclusive, you treat others with respect, and you are willing to be vocally self-critical
You value coaching your team and developing leaders. You have a demonstrated track record of hiring strong talent and moving them through the organization
Base Salary: $247,200.00 to $321,400.00

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Our base salary is just one component of Peloton’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes annual equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan as well as other region-specific health and welfare benefits.
