Netflix is one of the world’s leading streaming entertainment services with 231 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, documentaries, feature films and mobile games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.
In April 2022, we announced that we are creating a new lower-priced, ad-supported tier for our customers. We are now working toward providing more choices for consumers and a premium, better-than-linear TV brand experience for advertisers. That said, we are looking for the founding members who will be instrumental in shaping this new business area for Netflix!
Responsibilities
Establish and foster working relationships with key decision makers on both client and agency level with a focus on Holding Companies and Fortune 500 brands
Build on the strengths of the Netflix portfolio of product offerings to close new business while renewing and up-selling existing clients to maximize revenue
Prepare proposals and respond to RFP’s with a high degree of professionalism, quality and in a timely manner
Partner with Microsoft, Category teams, and other agency teams to grow revenue across the business
Work with Netflix Ad Sales Product, Marketing, Research, and Revenue Yield Management to ensure that client’s needs are being met
Negotiate pricing, advertising placement, content and event concepts
Develop sales strategies and sales plans for assigned accounts
Create and deliver powerful and persuasive presentations to clients
Prospect, identify and qualify new clients
Stay current on video advertising trends and innovations
Position requires travel based on agency and client location
Qualifications
8+ years of advertising sales experience
Proven strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate it into specific and measurable tactics, actions, and outcomes
Highly skilled in negotiating and selling the intrinsic value of a premium offering to customers
Problem solver with the ability to collaborate and work across functions
Prospecting and cold calling skills necessary
Understanding of how our clients set priorities and performance goals, and how we can align our product portfolio to best fulfill those needs
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, make decisions and manage at entrepreneurial speed
Strong, confident presentation skills
