Thornton Oaks –  Maine’s best Independent Retirement Community is looking for a dynamic person that loves to be around people. The Accounting and Marketing Associate position has multiple responsibilities with varying skills.

Do you have experience in:

·         Invoicing

·         Billing

·         QuickBooks

·         Working with legal documents

·         Microsoft Publisher

·         Designing newsletters

·         Customer Service

·         Being Versatile

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: High school graduate.
License/Certifications: N/A.
Experience:  Administrative Assistant training preferred. Word processing experience necessary.
Computer experience with spreadsheet and database programs desirable.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to produce accurate work under stress.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Thorough knowledge of administrative techniques.
General knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Demonstrated ability to relate well with people.
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
Proven ability to work effectively and with initiative in a multi-faceted position required attention to a variety of issues simultaneously.
Willingness to cross-train and assist other Department in carrying out their respective responsibilities.
