The VP of Marketing is responsible for leading the development, implementation and execution of the Casino marketing plans. The position will also be responsible for execution and performance of the branded marketing programs. Live! Philadelphia is in the heart of the Philadelphia’s Stadium district. Where You’ll Make an Impact
Develops and manages the implementation of Marketing plans for Live! Casino and Hotel. Leads the progression of marketing plans and adjusts these plans to ensure the successful achievement of the Company’s goals. Provides open and complete communications with operations, finance and all other departments. Leads the development and growth of the marketing department team members. Directs the implementation and development of the Casinos’ branded marketing programs. Develops and manages the budget for department. Leads the Casino effort in establishing it as a community leader. Leads the Casino effort in developing cooperative marketing and operational efforts with local partners. Develops and trains staff, interviews for new hires and performs performance evaluations of direct reports and ensures timely, accurate and effective evaluations are completed on all members of the department. Ability to extend complementariness in accordance with the property comp matrix. All other duties as assigned
A Few Must Haves
Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Institution in a business-related field (i.e. Marketing, Finance, and Business) or equivalent experience required. High degree of computer literacy with in-depth knowledge of PC and Mid-Range system applications. Should include consumer data analytics experience. Ten (10) years’ experience in operating Consumer Marketing programs in a high-volume hospitality environment, including conceptualizing, producing and executing these types of programs.
Skills You’ll Need to Succeed
Experience with entertainment, advertising, database marketing, digital marketing, and PR. Outstanding communications and presentation skills. Experience in a high tax environment helpful. Regional experience is also a plus. Should be able to work in an open dialogue environment with a competitive spirit. Experience in a high service minded environment is a plus. Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Agency for the position. Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results. Ability to solve complex problems. Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work extended hours across all shifts in a 24/7 work environment. Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises. You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
