Job Description

The NCS Junior Projects & Support Manager plays a key role in communication, tracking, and project coordination across assigned business and client initiatives. This role supports project flow, organization, and execution across NCS and affiliated entities, ensuring alignment, transparency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain assigned projects, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
  • Present project strategy to business unit stakeholders, including product enhancement recommendations.
  • Partner with leadership and end users to document project needs, define strategy, and benchmark existing systems/processes.
  • Develop project plans outlining tools, timelines, deliverables, and implementation steps.
  • Report project progress and development roadmaps to stakeholders.
  • Conduct post‑implementation audits (postmortems) with stakeholders.
  • Document lessons learned, outcomes, and goal attainment for each project.
  • Assist with research and development for new products.
  • Develop ongoing product and client audit policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 1+ year of project management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills; strong knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent coursework/certification).
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills; proven ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Self‑motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Team‑oriented with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
  • Prior experience presenting to senior and executive leadership.
  • Mortgage and/or credit industry experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications (What Sets You Apart)

  • 3+ years as an assistant/junior project manager or prior business analyst experience.
  • 5+ years in mortgage operations.
  • Experience working at an early‑stage startup (Series B or earlier).
  • JIRA experience.
