Role Summary:
This Associate will support the Partnerships & Client Experience team within the Corporate Brand & Integrated Marketing team in the Executive Office to bring the Goldman Sachs brand and OneGS experience to life through strategic sponsorship and partnership activations. This individual will help to build upon and execute our partnership strategy, including a top-tier hospitality plan, in line with Goldman Sachs’ key initiatives and client interest areas. This role reports to the head of Partnerships & Client Experience and requires close collaboration with the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Brand Officer and Marketing leaders across our four revenue businesses: Wealth Management, Asset Management, Investment Banking and Global Markets.
Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as a member of the Partnerships and Client Experience team within Marketing, supporting Firmwide sponsorship and partnership initiatives
- Lead the execution of bespoke hospitality client experiences at global events
- Help execute the event and hospitality component of the team’s strategy in partnership with the firm’s divisions and event management
- Assist with central coordination of end-to-end event logistics, including invitations, registration, event set-up, programming and agendas, promotional items, communications and data tracking of sponsorship activations
- Develop and prepare internal presentations, meeting agendas and program summaries
- Support the creation and implementation of custom & unique client treatment & one-to-one communications that elevate the OneGS Client Experience
- Develop strong relationships across the network and within the firm to gain insights into the needs of the clients
- Build and develop relationships with vendors, key brands and external agencies across cultural and business properties to drive hospitality strategy
- Work closely with business leaders and stakeholders throughout the firm to bring creative ideas and solutions that meet event-related goals
- Work collaboratively in a team environment
- Help to manage event calendar, budget and post-event reporting
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4-8 years of experience in luxury hospitality, brands and or event partnerships (Events and Client Treatment experience in the B2B or B2C environment is a benefit)
- Strong understanding of luxury service and exceptional experiences
- Track record of ability to seek and execute new and creative ideas and concepts
- Up to date on current industry trends
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; team player who is motivated and a self-starter
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
- Proactive and solution oriented. Ability to work interdepartmentally in a fast-paced environment and think quickly under pressure
- Ability to effectively engage with senior leadership and clients in a matrixed environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and is comfortable and successful in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally several times a year for on-site event support

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
