Position Overview

Business Plan Writers Canada is seeking a talented Business Plan Writer to join our team working onsite in Toronto. Ideal candidate will develop well-researched, clear, and professional business plans for startups, entrepreneurs and established companies. Excellent writing skills, strong business knowledge, and the ability to meet deadlines, and deliver high quality work.

Requirements

Good first degree in Business, Finance or Marketing related courses.
Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
Good research and analytical skills.
Knows how to develop a business plan for a specific industry.
Good knowledge of market research and financial planning.
Must be able to work in Toronto.
Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.

Portfolio & Experience

Must have at least 2 years experience in business plan writing.
Completed plans of business must be included in a portfolio.
Experience in preparing investor, banking, startup, or immigration business plans is a plus.
Previous work samples should be provided in the application process.

Communication & Language Skills

Good verbal and written English skills.
Professional communication skills with clients and team members.
Good presentation and proofreading abilities.
Capability to grasp client needs and deliver viable solutions.

Additional Skills

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Business planning and financial forecasting skills.
Excellent ability to problem-solve and use critical thinking.
Independent, self-organized, reliable.
Ability to operate independently and collaboratively.
