Amazon Music is seeking a passionate and dynamic Social Media Marketing Manager to join our Global Brand & Integrated Marketing team. In this role, you will take the lead in planning, developing, executing, and optimizing compelling social media campaigns across tentpole marketing campaigns for the Amazon Music brand. You will work across various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube, driving long-term strategy, creating engaging content, and fostering community building and management. Collaboration with internal teams, external stakeholders, and creative partners will be crucial to driving innovative and impactful campaigns.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategies and campaigns, spanning new product launches, sports partnerships, merch, livestreams, brand campaigns, and cultural moments.
• Create captivating and culturally relevant social media content that resonates with diverse and culture-driving audiences, with a special focus on the YA demographic.
• Seamlessly integrate social campaigns into larger projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
• Serve as the voice and personality of the Amazon Music brand on social media, ensuring consistency across channels and campaigns.
• Bring a social perspective to integrated marketing campaigns, seasonal tentpoles, and product marketing opportunities.
• Communicate and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to influence and inform complex marketing decisions that propel the business forward.
• Partner with regional social teams to execute global marketing campaigns that resonate with international markets.
• Monitor and analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign performance, optimize strategies, and maximize audience engagement.
• Stay continuously informed about YA and diverse culture trends, infusing the social space with innovative ideas.
A day in the life
This role works closely with teams across the organization to lead social strategy for our tentpole campaigns and partnerships. On any given day you are contributing to executive strategies, creating briefs for artists, working on video edits, crafting social copy for the brand and artist pages and working with global teams to celebrate cultural moments like Pride, while heading to set to lead a content capture for a massive show with today’s biggest artist. This role blends strategy and creative execution to bring fans closer to who and what they love.
About the team
The Global Social Marketing team lead the organic social efforts and presence for the Amazon Music (AM) brand. We connect customers, artists, and creators through music, stories, culture and community by increasing awareness among key audiences, including Young Adults A16-34, who are most active on social media. We seek to bring fans closer to the artists and creators we love, through content and strategies that reflect fandom and increase brand awareness and love for Amazon Music.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
– Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
– Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in multi-territory campaign management
– Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
– Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights
– Experience with Salesforce and Tableau
– A genuine passion for engaging diverse and culture-driving audiences, particularly with a focus on the YA demographic.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills, allowing you to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across various teams.
– Excellent analytical skills, including experience monitoring and analyzing social media metrics to optimize campaigns

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $63,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
